Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the holding capacity of test piece and facilitate the handling of blood of relatively high viscosity by composing the automatic sample feeder of a horizontal loader shifting device, a loader rotating device, a sample container lifter and a sample agitation/suction device. CONSTITUTION:This feeder is composed of a horizontal loader shifting device adapted to shift a disc loader 2 carrying a sample container 1 by one line together with a loader rotating the device, the loader rotating device for intermittent rotation of the loader, a lifter 15 for lifting the sample container 1 and a sample agitation/ suction device 16 adapted to agitate samples including blood turning the sample suction pipe. With such an arrangement, multiple lines of sample containers 1 are placed in a circle on a disc loader and shifted altogether with the loader. Thus, functions including the rotation of the loader and the lifting of the sample containers can be done effectively thereby reducing area occupied by each test piece.
