Abstract

PURPOSE: A powdered food and drink having improved absorbability of calcium, comprising calcium, citric, succinic, and malic acids.
CONSTITUTION: Eight parts by wt. of calcium powder, e.g. calcium phosphate or carbonate, is incorporated with 80 parts by wt. of citric powder, 10 parts by wt. of succinic acid powder, and 2 parts by wt. of malic acid powder, and the mixture is heated at 45°C for about 30min.
