Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a sluice gate keep in balance with acted water pressure, absorb the shock and enable to operate both automatically and manually by providing a bumper chamber in a circuit of a hydraulic cylinder which operates the sluice gate.
CONSTITUTION: When the pressure acting on a sluice gate 1 is not greater than the reaction of a spring 15 stored in a bumper chamber 14 of a hydraulic apparatus 10, the gate 1 continues to stand but when the water pressure becomes greater than the reaction of the spring 15, since the water pressure acts on a slider 12 through a cylinder 5 and the operational oil of a pressure oil chamber 13, the slider 12 moves toward the bumper chamber 14 until the reaction of the spring 15 and the water pressure are kept in equibrium, compresses the spring 15, return back the operational oil from the cylinder 5 to the hydraulic chamber 13 where space is caused to expand by the slider 12 which has moved toward the bumper chamber 14 and the gate 1 rolls automatically.
