Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance insulation characteristics by applying a resinous composition with light-hardening property, applying powder thereon, and making excellent insulating cover especially on acute-angle portions.
CONSTITUTION: In the case an insulating material is applied on a coil conductor and the like, a cover 1' is formed by applying resinous composition having light- hardening property on the conductor and illuminating an ultra-violet ray thereon, then cover 2' is formed by applying a powder such as epoxy resin powder and the like thereon. In this case, the resinous composition with light-hardening property is prepared by, for example, adding reactive monomer, light-reaction starting agent, and polymerization inhibitor to a compound having unsaturated radical such as unsaturated polyester and the like. The thickness of the applied film is about 1∼ 20μ. In this method, an excellent insulating cover can be applied even on the acute-angle portion at the edge, thereby insulation characteristics such as withstanding voltages and the like can be enhanced.
