Abstract

PURPOSE: To spray a molten metal with high accuracy, by tightly fitting a thin sheet made of a thermoplastic and thermally-adhesive high-molecular substance and provided with a prescribed hole.
CONSTITUTION: A thermally adhesive sheet 2 provided with a hole of the same diameter as an electrode is so laid on an end face of a unit 1 made of ZnO powder or the like as a main constituent that the electrode can be manufactured in a prescribed position. The unit 1 and the sheet 2 are then tightly fitted on each other by an iron plate or bar heated at about 150W300°C. The thermally adhesive sheet 2 is thus hermetically bonded as a molten metal spraying mask on the end face of the unit 1.
