Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the yield of a paint, by providing at least one pair of facing painting guns in selected positions at selected angles to conveyed shape steel to move the guns in the direction of the width of the steel to make a uniform painted film.
CONSTITUTION: Two pairs of painting guns 3a, 3b and 3c, 3d are provided for shape steel 1 which is conveyed by a table 2. The guns are so placed in positions different from one another as to the longitudinal direction of the shape steel 1 that the guns face each other. The guns are so oriented at such an angle that the ejecting directions of the guns converge in the direction of the width of the shape steel. The guns 3a, 3b are located over the shape steel 1 and separated at a distance of L1 from each other in the direction of the width of the shape steel and can be moved back and forth in said direction through arms 5a, supports 6a, carriers 7a, etc. The other pair of guns 3c, 3d are located under the shape steel 1. The guns are moved along the flange sides 1b, 1b' and web sides 1a, 1a' of the shape steel 1 to eject a paint.
