Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare super-purified water at a relatively low operating pressure without carrying out the pre-filtering and without hindering in a neutral range by passing crude purified through a series of apparatus at a specific order.
CONSTITUTION: The crude purified water is passed through a ultraviolet ray water flow type sterilizer 1 to sterilize and thereby, a filter membrane is prevented from an attack by microorganisms. Thereafter, the sterilized water is passed through a spiral type (an operating pressure: about 4W8kg/cm2) or a spaghetti type (about 1W3kg/cm2) ultrafilter apparatus 8, a mixed bed type ion exchange tower 3 to remove microorganisms, fine particles, organic substances by a filter membrane 8 as well as to make the desalting in a resin tower 3 easy. Finally, the treated water is passed through a membrane filter 4 having about 0.2μ pore size to remove fine particles generated by a breaking action of an ion exchange resin and the super- purified water is obtained.
