Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a pair of pins, which support a hydraulic cylinder in a direction to come into or out of contact with a fixed support, from being deformed even if the fixed support is deformed in braking, by carrying one of the pins with an elastically deformable member.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed support 10 is located at one side of a disc not shown in Fig. and supports a first and a second pads 11, 12 located at both the sides of the disc. A hydraulic piston 13 is placed behind the first pad 11 and fitted in a cylinder 14 which has a reacting part 14a behind the second pad 12. A flange 14b integrally protruded on one side of a cylinder 14 in the rotating direction of the disc. The top of a first support pin 15 is screwed in the tapped hole 14c of the flange 14b. The top of a second support pin 18 is carried with an elastically diformable plate 16 on the other side of the cylinder 14 in the rotating direction of the disc. The pins 15, 18 are slidably inserted in holes 10a, 10b of the fixed support 10.
