Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent foods from being contaminated with oil leaked out from a hydraulic cylinder, by using an uncovering mecahnism which first lift the cover slightly and then transfers it sideways.
CONSTITUTION: An opening 3 of a pressure vessel 2 is closed with a cover 4. Screw thread 5 is cut continuously on the external circumference of the opening 3 and cover 4. A ring nut 6 is engaged with the thread 5 to make the cover 4 detachable to or from the vessel 2. A stopper 7 is fixed at the bottom of the thread 5 on the vessel 2. The cover 4 can be fastened liquidtight through a seal 8 to the pressure vessel 2, by turning the cover 4 after the nut 6 comes in touch with the stopper 7. The cover 4 is fitted through a lifting mecahnism 9 to the tip of an arm 18 which is swivel round a strut (not shown in the figure), and is slightly lifted by means of an elastic element 15 such as belleville spring when the nut 6 is removed.
