Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the change in the resonance frequency of the vibrator and achieve the improvement in the light scanner by providing a thermo sensitive element in a reversible motor to detect the temperature in the motor controlling the temperature of the motor to the specified temperature by its detection output.
CONSTITUTION: A thermistor 10 and heater 20 are provided in the motor body 1 of the light scanner in order to stabilize mechanical characteristics such as resonance frequency of the vibrator. The thermistor 19 is disposed near a speed detecting plate 16 and the thin-plate-form heater 20 is disposed in close contact with the motor body 1 and is packed in the motor body 1 by the epoxy resin of superior heat conductivity. When a heater drive circuit DHT operates, the thermistor Th detects the temperature in the light scanner and the circuit DHT controls the current supply to the heater HT, by which the temperature in the light scanner is controlled to the specified temperature. As a result of this, it becomes possible to eliminate the fluctuations in the natural frequency of the torsion spring bar 2 and make its amplitude fluctuations negligible, thus the accuracy of the light scanner may be improved.
