Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of the load of an engine by a mechanism wherein an intake negative pressure detector is mounted and a compressor is suspended or the load of the compressor is released when the absolute value of the intake negative pressure of the engine is not more than set value. CONSTITUTION:A negative pressure chamber 19 partitioned by means of a diaphragm 21 in a negative pressure detector 18 is communicated with an intake manifold 6 connected to a carbureter 5, and a microswitch 24 is installed into the other atmospheric air chamber 20 communicated with atmospheric air and made and broken by means of a projection 23 of the center of the diaphragm 21 through a lever 33. A delay timer 29 is connected in series with a contact 25 in the microswitch 24. The contact 25 is opened when the absolute value of intake negative pressure becomes smaller than set value, and conduction to an electromagnetic clutch 9 and an outdoor fan 15 is interrupted. Even when the absolute value of the intake negative pressure becomes larger and the contact 25 is closed, electricity is conducted to the electromagnetic clutch 9 and the outdoor fan 15 after a fixed time by means of the delay timer 29, and air cooling operation is reopened.
