Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent water hummer phenomena occurring in water feed conduit path, by increasing the rotation in step to r.p.m. to be recovered without tripping the pump during power interruption and continuing the operation of pump upon recovery of power.
CONSTITUTION: In order to operate the pump continuously during temporal power interruption, time of power interruption or r.p.m. of pump or decreased amount of exhaust pressure is detected and when it is lower than preset level, r.p.m. is increased in step with predetermined time interval by a plurality of r.p.m. setters as shwon on the drawing. Here first speed is set higher and nearest to that after power revovery, while last speed is set lower and nearest to target level thus to prevent the water hummer occurring in water feed conduit path.
