Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of a switch for detecting the time of a hand in a time signal watch and reduce the number of improper contact accident thereof by counting the time signal via twelve contacts corresponding to the respective hour positions and the output of a counter for counting the sound signals at every second. CONSTITUTION:A start controller 7 produces an output when a minute hand moves from one second before the time of a time signal, a waveform shaper 13 produces a start signal after one second therefrom, a reset signal means 17 simultaneously resets a counter 19 to start a continuous signal 14 upon reception of the start signal, and a sound signal 6 at every one second is transmitted through a gate 15 to a sound generator 1 to thereby count it. When a change-over switch 23 becoming coincident to the indication of an hour hand becomes coincident to the counter 19, it generates a stop signal 24 at the trailing edge of the sound signal to thereby stop the operation of the sound generator 1.
