Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the improvement in display effect by forming at least one of transparent conductive sheets forming the field effect type display body with a cellulose triacetate sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of transparent conductive sheets 1, 2 are opposed at their transparent conductive films 3 and a spacing is maintained by using a suitable spacer 4. Liquid crystal composition 5 is sealed into this spacing. In this case, at least one of the transparent conductive sheets 1, 2 is a cellulose triacetate sheet provided with transparent conductive film and it is preferable that the transparent conductive sheets 1, 2 be both cellulose triacetate sheets provided with transparent conductive films. Also, it is desirable that the transparent conductive films be of indium oxide containing tin oxide, cadmium stamnate containing antimony oxide. The abovementioned assembled element is inserted between two sheets of polarizing plates 6, 7 whose angles of polarization intersect orthogonally and vertically, whereby the liquid crystal display body is constituted.
