Abstract

CONSTITUTION: With the output signal from a function generation control unit 1, the inclination angle of a ladle 3 is controlled through an inclining device 2, and the molten metal in the ladle 3 is dropped into a pot. The net weight of the molten metal poured into the pot is measured by a molten metal weight measuring instrument 4, and the output signal of the molten metal pouring weight is sent to a weight setting device 6 and a differential operation unit 5. This signal is differentiated in terms of the time in the nit 5, and is fed back to the input to the device 2, so that the control system may be stabilized. On the other hand, the weight setting device 6 sends a control signal to the unit 1 when the signal reaches a predetermined weight setpoint to stop the output signal of the unit 1 or change it in reverse direction so that the pour weight may remain at the setpoint. When the molten metal in the pot reaches the set weight, the molten metal is sent to the die, so that the casting is produced.
