Abstract
PURPOSE: To give excellent anticorrosive capability to iron and its alloys by using an aqueous solution containing phosphate of O-phenylphenol as the constitutional component and an alkali metal salt.
CONSTITUTION: A phosphate of O-phenylphenol and an alkali metal salt of NaOH, etc., ammonia, or an amine salt are dissolved in water in an appropriate moler ratio to prepare a 0.01% or more, preferably 0.1% or more, anticorrosive aqueous solution. The anticorrosive, in case where it is used in the form of a water-soluble anticorrosive, is mixed with a surfactant to raise its wettability to metals, or the anticorrosive aqueous solution is used in the form of an anticorrosive wrapping material by coating the aqueous solution on a paper, etc., or impregnating it in a paper, etc., in a proportion of approx. 1g/m2.
