Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the said heater with uniform distribution of temperature by a method wherein a forced suction and exhaust air combustion system is formed horizontally so that it can be furnished at places which have not been used as dead spaces and a water pipe for cooling a flame nozzle part is provided for a burner.
CONSTITUTION: In a hot water heater 1 is provided a mixing pipe 3 so that the air from a suction and exhaust air blower 2 may mix with gas. A burner 4, a combustion chamber 6, a heat exchanger 8 and an exhaust hood 9 are connected with the mixing pipe 3 successively and horizontally and contained in the heater. The exhaust is thrown away through an exhaust pipe 10 and fresh air is supplied through an air supply pipe 11. Fuel gas is supplied to a mixing pipe 3 from an inlet 19 through an electromagnetic valve 20, a governer 21, an electromagnetic valve 22, a supply pipe 23. On the other hand, the water from a water supply pipe 12 is led to the heat-exchanger 8 and part of it is bypassed. When it passes a cool water pipe 15 near the nozzles 5 of the burner 4, it cools the nozzle part 5, is mixed with the water from the water supply pipe 12 and the hot water is supplied through hot water pipes 16, 18.
