Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the signal of high quality, by performing the recording and reproduction of different video signals or audio and video signals on the adjacent tracks of the video track with a pair of rotary head in unifiedly revolution.
CONSTITUTION: The rotary head is provided in the housing H so that the heads A, B, C, D have the phase difference of 90° each other. The video tape T is carried while rotating this head with a given value. The trqcks AWD are present on the video tape T and they correspond to respective head. The video signal modulation waves from the heads A, B are reproduced with the display unit such as CRT via the high frequency amplifier 10. When the diveo signal modulation waves are detected from the heads C, D, the analog switch 19 is ON and they are reproduced with the video signal reproducing processing circuit 12. On the other hand, when the audio signal modulation waves are detected from the heads C, D, the analog switch 20 is ON and they are reproduced via the power amplifier 23. Thus, the signal of high quality can be obtained.
