Abstract
PURPOSE: To establish high speed operation characteristics, by uniforming the movement of extended magnetic domain to reduce the deterioration in performance due to fine magnetic domain diameter, through the constitution of extension unit through shifted tops of the extender at the side where the magnetic domain extended to be transferred enters the extender.
CONSTITUTION: The magnetic domain extenders 14W16, and magnetic domain detector 17 are formed with soft ferromagnetic thin film such as permalloy on the magnetic domain media, and the extenders 14W16 are constituted with the element 18 shifting the top t of asymmetrical chevron transfer element toward the magnetic domain progressing direction.
