Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an analog picture signal with good timing precision even if a sub scan speed would change by equipping a read analog memory with taps and then by selectively extracting several block outputs from respective taps corresponding to sub scan timing.
CONSTITUTION: A picture signal obtained via read amplifier 8 from image sensor 5 driven at a constant period is changed into an analog signal with no dispersion in level for each line due to a change in accumulation time and this signal is stored in accumulating analog delay line 9 and transferred to analog delay line 10 with read taps. When the driving frequency of sensor 5 is denoted by (f) and its clock period is also denoted by (d), the delay value of one bit of the delay line is (d) and a one-block output to an input to delay line 10 is delayed by nd/5sec. Then, gate circuit 12 sends the signal of each block to an OR circuit by the gate signal of counter 13 to sent a picture signal for one line.
