Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide poultice having long water retention time containing as an effective component including saponified graft copolymer of starch/acrylonitrile, an aliphatic carboxylic acid-containing high molecular compound and a difficultly soluble Al compound.
CONSTITUTION: To powder (A) of saponified and unsolubilized graft copolymer of starch/acrylonitrile and a mixture (B) obtained by including a water-soluble synthetic high molecular compound (a) comprising an aliphatic carboxylic acid-containing monomer or soluble salt thereof and a difficultly soluble Al compound (b) in a concentration of about 1W5wt% of total composition in the presence of an organic acid (C) with M.W. below 300 having hydroxyl group and/or amino group and/or imino group within a molecule, water (C) is added to obtain a water-containing gel with pH4W7. Herein, as (a), poly(meth)acrylic acid or the like, as (b), Al(OH)3 or the like, as (c), lactic acid, amino acid, imino acid or the like are used.
