Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive water-repelling agent capable of providing durable water repellency to variable products and materials without using pre- or after-treatment by using siloxane compound and organic silicon monomer.
CONSTITUTION: The object water-repellent is formed by the following (A), (B) and (C) components: (A): 100pts.wt. of siloxane compound represented by the formulas I and II (R, R', X and Y: H, Cl 1W12C organic gp.; n: 2W30 integer; compound contains one or more of active Cl directly connected to Si) (B): 0.1W100 pts.wt. of organic silicon monomer of the formula III (R": substituted or non-substituted alkyl; R''', X' and Y': 1W8C alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, and halogen; momoner having two or more of different reactive gap. in a molecule), and (C): 0.1W50 or preferably 0.5W20pts.wt. of water added to 100pts.wt. of (A).
