Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a soil stabilizer which is useful as backing material and effective in environmental pollution prevention and waste reutilization by adding pulp or disassembled fiber of old paper to water-cotg. fine sludge discharged by circulation of ground excavation stabilizer liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Water-contg. fine sludge is discharged as waste from circulation system of ground excavation stabilizer liquid used in the ground excavation work in shield process or continuous underground wall process. To such sludge, pulp or disassembled fiber of old paper is added. The added. pulp or fiber absorbes excessive water from the fine sludge and maintains water. This allows sludge to be easily handled and transferred. The sludge described above contains excessive water even after dehydrated by compression, but in this manner of adding pulp or disassembled fiber of old paper, the excessive water is absorbed and contained in the system.
