Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily produce the compound eye lens device by using the laminates of transparent body layers and light shield plates, with respect to the lens used for the projection system of the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Plural sets of transparent body layers 124 such as of acrylic resins, epoxy-resins, polycarbonate or styrene and light shield plates 125 are prepared. The transparent body layers 124 and light shield plates 125 are then alternately laminated and are integrated by bonding or fusion bonding, after which these are compression-molded by using the upper and lower dies in which the concave spherical faces having the curvatures of the 1st end faces and 2nd end faces of the bar lenses are arrayed in the disposition positions of the respective bar lenses, whereby the bar lens end faces are formed on the top and bottom surfaces of the transparent body layers 124. Thereby, the compound eye lens device of a small size and precision lens end faces is produced with good volume productivity and low cost.
