Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform toner replenishment extremely readily and surely without flying toner to the surroundings by so constituting the device that the toner vessel is fitted into the replenishing hole and is pushed down to peel the seal at the openings of the vessel bottom.
CONSTITUTION: A vessel 1 containing toner is formed by a thin resin plate and its bottom is provided with openings 1a, 1b for feeding toner. The openings 1a, 1b are sealed by the seal member 2 which comprises coating fusion-bondable resin on the surface of an aluminum film or the like. At the other end of the openings, the seal member 2 is folded back and its terminal end is secured to a pawl member 3. When the toner containing vessel is increasingly inserted into the toner replenishing hole, the pawl member 3 engages with the pawl detection part 4c of the toner replenishing hole side face and is disengaged from the vessel body 1. When the case 1 is further pushed down, the seal member 2 peels, thus the replenishment of the toner may be surely accomplished without flying the toner to the surroundings.
