Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure memorization for the picture information sent from the picture input device after conversion into the parallel data coinciding with the recording width of the memory device by installing the circuit featuring both the shift and parallel output functions for the information plus the circuit featuring the function to store the data temporarily.

CONSTITUTION: The reader which gives the linear scanning to the original and then generates the picture information is divided into plural number of linear arrays. And the picture element signals of the fixed bit belonging to each divided sector are applied to shift registers 50-1W50-32 via signal line sl₂ for the serial picture information, and then stored in registers 50-1W50-32 with application of the clock signals of a fixed number. Tahe picture information of registers 50-1W50-32 are stored into latch circuits 52-1W52-32 in one time and in synchronization with the latch indication signals to be applied to terminal T3. At the same time, the picture element signals of circuits 52-1W52-32 are applied to selection circuits 53-1W53-32 in parallel, and the picture element information of circuits 53-1W53-32 are delivered in parallel to signal line 56 via the signal of sector selection circuit 54 which decodes the sector signal sent from signal line 57.
