Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a converter featuring the merit of both the dynamic and piezoelectric electrocaoustic converters plus the excellent charcteristics by providing the voice coil to the diaphragm which uses the high molecular piezoelectric film and at the same time securing the parallel connection between the electrode coated onto the high molecular piezoelectric film and the voice coil. CONSTITUTION:The high molecular piezoelectric material film is used for diaphragm 32 of speaker 31 which functions as the electroacoustic converter, and coil bobbin 34 wound by voice coil 33 is connected to diaphragm 32. Then electrodes 36 and 37 of diaphragm 32 are connected in parallel to coil 33, and coil 33 plus electrodes 36 and 37 are driven in parallel by signal source 41. The coincidence is then secured for the phase between the piezoelectric action and the dynamic action each. Thus the reproduction is improved through the piezoelectric action for the high and ultra-high ranges particularly; while the reproduction is enchanced through the dynamic action for the intermediate and low ranges respectively.
