Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the quality of fluorescent substance stripe by the procedure in which a semiconductive membrane provided on aluminium membrane is charged, electrostatic latent image is formed by selective light exposure, and then index fluorescent substance as a toner is subjected to a developing treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The black stripe 2 and the tri-color fluorescent substances 3R, 3G, and 3B are formed on the inner surface of the panel 1, and then the aluminium layer 5 is deposited on the surface through the organic film 4 under vacuum. Then, the photo-conductive semiconductive membrane 6 is coated on the surface of the aluminium layer 5 and then charged by corona discharge from the outside small wire 7. And, the mask 8 for fluorescent substance stripe is provided and then the light 9 is irradiated to form electrostatic latent image for the fluorescent substance stripe. Then, the electrostatic image is subjected to a developing treatment using the fluorescent particle 10 as a toner to form the fluorescent substance stripe 11 for indexing on the surface of the semiconductive membrane 6 which is, in turn, vaporized by a heat treatment.
