Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the dynamic range of input signals by connecting back gates of a differential pair of MOSFETs to sources. CONSTITUTION:Substrates of MOSFET TN1 and TN2 are connected to source S instead of the most negative position, namely, GND. Thus, the common level becomes smaller than connection of substrates to GND, so that the lower limit of the dynamic range may be extended downward. Consequently, the dynamic range of input signals can be extended. This extension can be executed very easily by connecting source S to p-type well W by wiring l in respect to a n-channel MOSFET in a CMOSIC.
