Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a solar heat collecting apparatus, to facilitate repair of the same, and to reduce the manufacturing costs, by placing heat collecting units between ribs on the roof surface in the manner that water supply pipes and a water returning pipe of the heat collecting units are connected in freely detachable manner respectively to main supply pipe and main return pipe extended side by side along the eaves.
CONSTITUTION: Heat collecting unit 13 is placed between adjacent ribs 18 and 18 which are fixed on batten 7 of roof, and water supply pipes 16 and water return pipe 15 of the heat collecting units 13 are connected, in freely detachable manner, respectively to main supply pipe 12 and main return pipe 11 extended side by side along the eaves. Further, transparent plate 9 of reinforced glass or the like is secured to frame 24 which is fixed in turn to ribs 18, by means of fixing means 22 and by the intermediary of packing 23 and retainer 21, so that heat collecting units 13 are covered by the transparent plate 9. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to simplify the structure of the apparatus, to manufacture the apparatus economically, and to carry out repair with ease since main supply pipe and main returen pipe are connected in freely detachable manner to the heat collecting units.
