Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain errorless typing in a short time with the number of output homophones reduced by inputting input numbers by using numeric keys on a keyboard and then by storing Chinese characters in a different table without combining them with numbers.
CONSTITUTION: Input numbers are inputted by numeric keys on "kana" Japanese syllabary keyboard 1 and a code inputted without being interposed between codes inputted by striking a function key operated before and after a Chinese character conversion part including "kana" characters and numerals is sent direct to display part 9 via signal line L1 and converted into a character pattern, which is displayed. Further, an input code between codes inputted by striking the function key is stored in "kana" register 2 by way of signal line L2, and separated into "kana" characters 1 and 2 and numbers by separator circuit 3; "kana" character 1 is added to ordinal numeral table 5 via memory unit selector circuit 4 and converted into a desired Chinese character referring to table 5, and the Chinese character is displayed by display part 9 through composition circuit 8.
