Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to manufacture a temperature detection tool at low cost by simplifying attachment to frozen food, medical supplies, etc., by using as the temperature detection tool a microcapsule which contains a colored liquid frozen at a fixed temperature or below.
CONSTITUTION: In microcapsule, color-displaying colored liquid 2 consisting of a solution of salt, a solution of potassium chloride, etc., and dyes frozen at a fixed temperature or below is sealed and this is attached to frozen food, medical supplies, etc., being applied on an adequate table, etc. During freezing, colored liquid 2 in microcapsule 1 is frozen and retained with crack P on the surface of capsule 1. When the temperature of it increases up to the fixed temperature or more for some reason or other, colored liquid 2 thaws and oozes out of capsule 1 through crack P, thereby detecting the ambient temperature being higher than the fixed temperature.
