Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a relatively samll sized ink jet plotter by a method wherein one gutter is arranged at a position where ink drips from two nozzles of a charge control type ink jet plotter are directed forward and crossed with each other and thereby the gutter may be used in common. CONSTITUTION:Ink drips are injected from the nozzels under a specified space by an electric strain osciliator element etc. toward each of the ink jet heads 1-1, 1-2,.... Gutters 5-1, 5-2 are arranged one by one at a position when ink drips 2 are moved forward and ink drips from the two nozzles are crossed with each other. The ink frips are charged by a charging electric pole, moved forward. When no deflection voltage is found, the ink drips are further moved forward and recovered by the gutters 5-1, 5-2. When the deflection voltage is applied, the ink drips from the head 1-1 performs a printing operation in a range a in a printing paper 4, the head 1-2 also performs a printing operation in a range b and ability of getting a printing range having no clearance.
