Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the life span reliability of a fluorescent lamp by providing a low fused point material capsule which is arranged near a glass tube end and in which a preset amount of rare gas and mercury is sealed and a metal wire which fuses the capsule by the high frequency heating.
CONSTITUTION: The transparent conductive coat 12 is coated on the inside surface of the glass tube 1 except the one or both vicinities of the tube 1 and the phosphor layer 2 is coated on both inside surfaces of the coat 12 and the glass tube 1. Then, the low fused point material capsule 8 in which a preset amount of rare gas and mercury is sealed and the metal wire 9 which fuses the capsule 8 by the high frequency heating are arranged near the end of the glass tube 1.
