Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance leakage-resistant property by covering a metal case contacting with an insulating gasket and a portion of a sealing plate by a film of synthesized resin and the like which is alkaline resistant, is contacted with metals, ans is sticky under the film state. CONSTITUTION:A positive-electrode active material 2 comprising silver oxide and the like, a separator 3, and electrolyte-impregnated material 4, and a negative- electrode active material 5 are enclosed in a metal case 1 which is also a cylindrical positive terminal, and sealing is made by a sealing plate 6 which serves as a negative electrode, with an insulating gasket 8 being intervened, thereby a button-type battery is formed. Sticky films 9 and 10 are formed in the portion between the metal case 1 and the insulating gasket 8 of the sealing plate 6. The films 9 and 10 are formed by an alkaline-resistant material having excellent sticking property, for exaple, one of chlorosulfonic polyethylene, polyamide, isoprene rubber, and chlorinated butyl rubber.
