Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Guanosine-3'-triphosphate (salt).
USE: Anti-leukemic agent.
PROCESS: The objective guanosine-3'-triphosphate is prepared, e.g. by phosphatizing guanosine-3'-monophosphate. The phosphatization can be carried out as follows: (1) guanosine-3'-monophosphate is dissolved in 50% tert-butanol containing morpholine, (2) a tert-butanol containing dicyclohexylcarbodiimide is added to the solution dropwise, and refluxed, (3) the precipitate is separated from the reaction products by filtration, (4) guanosine-3'-phosphoromorpholidate 4-morpholine- N,N'-dicyclohexylcarboxamidine salt is separated from the filtrate, (5) a solution obtained by dissolving sodium pyrophosphate decahydrate in water, subjecting to ion exchange treatment, followed by concentrating and purifying, is added to the salt obtained by the step (4) and made to react, and (5) the reaction product is treated by e.g. column separation, etc.
