Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate transfer of energy without transmission of electric power by converting kinetic energy of water flow into electrical energy, then performing electrolysis of water by the use of said electric power to get hydrogen and oxygen.
CONSTITUTION: Magnets 12 and 13 and electrodes 16 and 17 are provided in the sea water and the like, and electrical energy is taken out from kinetic energy of ocean currents and the like. The output of an electromagnetic-fluid dynamic generator 11 is supplied to a water electrolysis arpparatus 19, and hydrogen and oxygen gases are obtained by the electrolysis of the water. In this constitution, intermediate- electrode plates 23 are arranged between the outside-electrode plates 21 and 22 for the electolysis so that the potential difference between individual electrode plates becomes a small value which is suitable for the electrolysis. Therefore, the electric output from the generator 11 is not required to transmit, and the energy can be transferred as hydrogen and oxygen gases.
