Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable more than two video discs to operate simultaneously by generating various control signals by making a comparison of phases of a frame signal, horizontal synchronizing signal and color burst signal from a reference signal and regenerated signal.
CONSTITUTION: Frame signal F and horizontal synchronizing signal H obtained from a synchronizing signal from reference composite synchronizing signal generator 21 through synchronous separation 22 are phase-compared 23 and 24 with signals F and H generated from a signal from regenerator 26 through synchronous separation 27, and frame lock detector 28 and horizontal lock detector 29 detect whether or not phases agree mutually. When phases of both frame signals agree each other, the phase comparison loop of the horizontal synchronizing signal is formed by a control signal from detector 28 and synchronization is performed definitely and rapidly. A reference color sub-carrier and regenerated color burst signal are compared each other by tangential servo part 50 to make a time-base correction. While frames and horizontal locking are not made, gate 35 is cut off and the time-base correction is made accurately.
