Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a title foam with excellent heat resistance, fire-retardant property and improved fragility by reacting a specific polyol, polyisocyanate, a foaming agent, a catalyst and a surface active agent.
CONSTITUTION: Polyol (A) containing above 30wt% of cyclic polyol having four functional groups shown by formula I and/or II (wherein R is alkylene; n is 1W10), polyisocyanate (B) of 1.5W5 equivalents, preferably 2W4 equivalents of active hydrogen compound including polyols, a foaming agent (C) such as methylene chloride or trichloromonofluoromethane, a catalyst (D) such as 2,4,6-tris(diaminomethyl)phenol or NaOH and a surface active agent (E) such as polyoxyalkylenealkyl ether or organopolysiloxane are mixed, foamed and hardened.
