Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a resin composition capable of forming a molded article with excellent dimensional stability, appearance or the like, by a method wherein glass fiber chopped strands are coated by a specified polymer composition and by blended to an olefin resin with a specified structure.
CONSTITUTION: (a) 5W50wt% of glass fiber-containing polymer containing 20W 90wt% of glass fiber chopped strands and showing pellet-like appearance obtained by polymerizing one kind of a vinyl compound monomer such as styrene or vinyltoluene or two or more of mutually copolymerizable vinyl compound monomer mixture in the presence of a vinyl monoglycidyl compound and glass fiber chopped strands by a suspension polymerization method and (b) 95W50wt% of an olefin resin having glycidyl group and reactive functional group and showing particulate or pellet-like appearance, e.g., polyethylene, polypropylene or the like are mixed to obtain an objective resin composition.
