Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a title resin composition with excellent electric conductivity, impact resistance or the like, by compounding polystyrene, styrene-butadiene block copolymer, polyethylene or ethylene copolymer and carbon black at a specified wt. ratio.
CONSTITUTION: (a) 40W89pts.wt. of polystyrene such as homopolymer, copolymer, or rubber-inforced polystyrene, (b) 3W15pts.wt. of styrene-butadiene block copolymer which is a thermoplastic elastomer, (c) 5W20pts.wt. of polyethylene or ethylene copolymer such as low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, or a copolymer based on ethylene and (d) 3W25pts.wt. of electrically conductive carbon black with large surface area are kneaded by a mixing roll, an extruder, a kneader or the like to obtain an objective resin composition.
