Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide monolithic structure usable without losing catalytic performance by use of a good adhesive having resistance to water and heat, and essentially consisting of colloidal silica solution and superfine refractory oxide powder.
CONSTITUTION: A typical adhesive for heat-resistant sheet essentially consists of components (A) in 100pts.wt., (B)in 0.1W50pts.wt., or preferably 1W20pts.wt., added with (C) in 0.01W15pts.wt., preferably 0.05W5pts.wt., wherein (A) is colloidal silica solution, (B) is superfine refractory oxide selected from one or more of (a) superfine particle silica, (b) superfine particle alumina, (c) superfine particle silica-alumina, and (d) superfine particle titania, and (C) is an organic thickener. The obtained adhesive is used to adhere adhesive monolithic structure.
