Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure characteristics of a repeater without using an expensive special measurer and measuring return line, by adding a simple function to a central unit and terminal unit constituting a doubled loop data transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Central unit 1 which controls a time-division channel on doubled loop data transmission line 3 and a control channel, and terminal unit 2 with an equipped data terminal are provided and when characteristics of a ''0'' system are measured, by-pass switch 28 of unit 2 is set the (b) side from operation board 18 of unit 1 through control channel 16.
