PURPOSE:To store the papers discharged from a recording device without getting stained by a method wherein one part or all part of the wall face, wherefrom recording papers are discharged, is arranged detachably against the main unit of the recording device, with the recording papers being stored in the space formed by the main unit and the separated wall face. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper storage 5 is pulled out of back face 1A of recording device 1 to change the fixture of hook 6 from hook 4a to hook 4b; whereby recording paper storage space 7 is formed between back face 1A and recording storage 5. The recording papers discharged from paper outlet 1a are stored in this space 7. Therefore, the recording papers are not stained, and it needs not to go for the trouble of winding up the recording paper even during the recording time. Furthermore, the recording device does not require the space to store the recording paper accommodating part, which makes it convenient to be carried around.
