Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure the pressure of a fluid without being influenced by the surroundings, by allowing a gate circuit to be turned on only when outputs from at least three pressure-sensitive elements provided around the outer circumferential surface of a pipe are varied similarly and substantially at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: A detection unit is provided on a pipe 1, and output terminals 121W124 of pressure sensitive elements 21W24 are connected input terminals 121'W 124' of waveform shaping circuits 131W134. When a fluid pressure in the pipe 1 varies, for example, in a pulsating manner, outputs from the pressure-sensitive elements 21W24 also vary in a pulsating manner. Output signals from the pressure- sensitive elements are synchronous with one another, and have the same polarity. Accordingly, an AND-gate circuit 14 is then turned on to generate at its output terminal 15 a pulse signal in accordance with the variations in pulsating pressure of the fluid. However, noise is applied to the pipe 1 from the utside, the output signals from the pressure sensitive elements are not synchronized so that the polarities thereof become different. As a result, the AND-gate circuit 14 is not turned on so that an output is not generated at its output terminal 15. Therefore, the oscillation frequency of an external force is not indicated in error.
