Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the brightness characteristic of each fluorescent member, by forming the photoconductor layer directly below fluorescent member on transparent substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Transparent electrode 2 is formed on inner face of outer case which constitutes a part of transparent substrate 1b. A plurality of holes 2a are arranged in matrix through said transparent electrode 2 while transparent substrate 1b is exposed to each hole 2a. Photoconductor layer 3 coated on transparent electrode 2 while containing each hole 2a. Opaque film 5 is coated on the surface of said photocondcutor layer 3 while graphite electrode 4a and fluorescent member 5 are formed on the hole 5a in said opaque film 5.
