Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate accidents due to mutual contact of electrode frames as well as to prevent gaskets from slipping and getting out of places by providing bosses resulted from welding on gasket sides for electrolytic chamber of the electrode frames layered through gaskets. CONSTITUTION:Electrode frames 1, 1' for current collection are provided around the rim parts of positive electrode 2 and negative electrode 2', which are layered through elastic gaskets 7, a gasket 6 for fuel chamber, a gasket 6' for oxidizer chamber. And a separator 8 is interposed between the both electrodes 2, 2', which portion is to be an electrolytic chamber. The bosses 11, 12 are provided on these both electrode frames 1, 1' so that they can bite into the elastic gaskets 7 on the electrolytic chamber side. These bosses 11, 12 are formed on one part or all around the both electrode frames 1, 1' by build-up welding.
