Abstract
PURPOSE:To use a pre-scaler to operate an electronic tuning unit without lowering of the frequency even if a C-MOS circuit is used to make power consumption low, by controlling the frequency of 16kHz or less in the PLL circuit independent of a local oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A tuner part is constituted by tuning circuit 1 using a voltage variable capacity element, local oscillation circuit 6 using a voltage variable capacity element, mixer circuit 2 and intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 3. Meanwhile, PLL circuit 7 is constituted by voltage control oscillation circuit 7-1, frequency divider circuit 7-2, comparator circuit 7-3 which compares a reference frequency with the frequency division output in phase, and a means which feeds back the output of comparator circuit 7-3 to oscillation circuit 7-1. Then, the voltage variable capacity of the tuner part is controlled by the control voltage which controls the voltage variable capacity of PLL circuit 7, and further, the frequency division ratio of the frequency divider circuit of PLL circuit 7 is controlled by the output signal of detection circuit 9 which detects receiving sensitivity on a basis of the output of the tuner part.
