Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve purifying capacity of oxide catalyst by controlling an auxiliary heater for heating oxide catalyst by use of the temperature of the oxide catalyst and of a heating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Smoking materials 5 are put on a fire pan 13, smoked preparations 7 are provided in a smoking chamber 8 and the chamber 8 is controlled at a proper temperature by a main heater 14 and a thermosensor 15 wired in series with the main heater 14. On the other hand, oxide catalyst for purifying smoke decomposes and purifies smoke 6 from smoking materials 5 mainly into CO2 and steam by an auxiliary heater 10 for heating the oxide catalyst and exhaust them. When the smoke passes through the oxide catalyst 4, heat produced by oxidation reaction varies considerably with its variety and quantity. For this reason, the temperature of the auxiliary heater 10 for heating oxides is controlled by a thermosensor 12.
