Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a big capacity D.C. source relay switch and the like, for holding an electromagnetic safety valve in open, unnecessary and reduce cost for a device by a method wherein one electrode of a combustion sensor is contacted with a primary flame and heated thereby while the other electrode thereof is provided between flame ports in a burner. CONSTITUTION:Under a normal combustion, a considerable difference of oxigen density is existing between a side of one electrode surface 24, located within a cylinder 17 heated by a primary flame F1, and a side of the other electrode surface 23, contacting with exhaust gas P2 of the combustion, therefore, a predetermined electromotive force is generated in a combustion sensor 19. That means the flame Fn are arranged in rows in parallel and the respective flames 12, 13 are burning independently, accordingly, some air is passing through the inner peripheral electrode surface 23 of the combustion sensor 19 together with the exhaust gas of the combustion. However, when an incomplete combustion is occurred, the sensor 19 is wrapped by the flame and an atmosphere of insufficient oxigen is caused in the exhaust gas P2 passing through the inner peripheral electrode 23, therefore, the above- described difference of oxigen density is lost and none of the electromotive force becomes to be generated in the combustion sensor 19.
